ABOUT ESSENTRICS
Essentrics
is a fully-body, simultaneous stretching/strengthening and re-balancing
workout replete with athletic, therapeutic, and aesthetic benefits.
Created by Miranda Esmonde-White, former ballerina with the National
Ballet of Canada, and her daughter, Sahra, the Essentrics workout is based on eccentric strengthening, which stretches the
muscles then strengthens them in the elongated position, creating a
lean, toned, and more flexible body. Essentrics
is intended to make the waist thinner, the stomach flatter, the legs
leaner, and the body toned, leaving the entire body more flexible and
agile. It is a unique program that targets flexibility and eccentric
strength all in one fitness workout. This translates into a body that is
energetic, pain-free, strong, and lean. It heals aches and pains and
prevents them from returning. It is used from everyone from home

NANCY MacLEOD
is a certified Level 4 Essentrics instructor. A long-time fitness enthusiast, with Essentrics she discovered for her the perfect blend of strengthening and active stretching that she was long searching for. She found that in addition to building strength, it rapidly improved her flexibility and her balance, and also almost immediately relieved pain from an injury. She teaches group classes, corporate sessions, and private clients.
